Microsoft has finally started to the roll out for Windows 10 Anniversary update worldwide. It brings a number of new features such as Windows Ink and Cortana along with improved Microsoft Edge browser.
The anniversary update will bring the Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection (WDATP) enterprise security feature that detects, investigates, and responds to advanced malicious attacks on networks by providing a more comprehensive threat intelligence and attack detection. Microsoft says the Windows 10 Anniversary Update will start rolling out to Windows 10 Mobile phones in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, the Windows 10 Anniversary Update is being rolled out to Windows 10 PCs across the world in phases starting with the newer machines first.
The update will roll out automatically and you don’t have to manually do anything to get it. This update is free for all the devices running on Windows 10. Microsoft officially ended its free upgrade program for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users on July 29. Windows 10 is running on over 350 million devices.
