After the successful launch of Redmi Note 3 smartphone earlier this year and the Mi Max phablet last month, Xiaomi is all to to launchRedmi 3S, its latest budget 4G smartphone in India soon. It wasannounced in China last month.
It has a metal body, fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 4100mAh battery. It comes in two variants, one with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage and other version with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. It is not clear if the company is planning to launch both the versions in the country. We recently unboxed the 3GB RAM variant of the Redmi 3S.

The Xiaomi Redmi 3S comes in Dark grey, Silver and Gold colors and is priced at 699 yuan (US$ 106 / Rs. 7120 approx.) for the 2GB RAM with 16GB storage version and the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version costs 899 yuan (US$ 136 / Rs. 9165 approx.) in China. We should know the exact launch date of the smartphone in India soon.
